All I can say is if you don't like the tax payer free lunch make your own. Maybe Mom and Dad could buy some food and pack you a lunch. This is a great example of how far we have fallen.

This one thing that I wish politicians would leave alone. Humans have no control over global warming. There is this thing called the sun that warms the Earth. Members of the media are pushing the belief if you don't believe in man made global warming you are pro pollution. Not true. Nobody believes in pollution. Instead of sounding like a 4th grader let's just say we want cleaner air and water. Drop the whole man made global warming thing. It's a scam. If you don't use carbon fuels to power your economy your economy fails. Let private business decide when to use solar and wind energy. As of right now you can't power ships, planes, trucks, and factories with wind and solar. The author also left off that there are no fines for a country that does not follow the rules of this agreement. This agreement was so world leaders cold get together and pat each other on the back.

This author clearly doesn't understand politics. She's throwing labels around like "centrist" and "far right". The fact of the matter is that all these Republicans are fairly center. It's weird that today if you believe in the Constitution you're far right. If you believe in a border and not taking everybody who wants to come into this country you are far right. Did you notice not one mention of Jeb Bush? The GOP establishment wants Jeb Bush. He is center left. He believes in taking in massive amounts of immigrants and amnesty. The people don't want another Jeb Bush. He's also boring. The media should not decide who gets to run. It should be the people.

Where Will SiriusXM Be In 10 Years

It is amazing that SiriusXM has grown to 29 million subscribers. I'm one of them. A lot of their growth comes from new car sales. What we'll see next in cars is a dash that will have a full computer with Internet. You'll be able to access every radio station, podcast, and streaming music service in your car. Eventually SiriusXM will no longer be needed. In ten years there will be no SiriusXM.    

School Principal Bans Santa, Thanksgiving and Pledge of Allegiance

You can tell the principal is a little weird at the other things she did. I think it is important for kids to experience Christmas. You certainly don't have to be a Christian to celebrate Christmas. The school should have a tree and images of Santa Claus. You don't have to have a cross. On Thanksgiving. Keep calling it Thanksgiving. To me Thanksgiving is about family and giving thanks for living in America. I know some people want to get into Europeans stealing America from the Indians. Just be thankful somebody settled America. Where else would you want to live? If you want to pledge allegiance to the flag that's cool. If not, stand there and be quiet. Then everybody can move on with their day.

The Movie Whiplash: How Can You Like Something That Was So Wrong

Somebody at work asked if I have seen the movie, “Whiplash.” I told them it’s funny you ask because I saw it this weekend and I have a lot of things to say about it.

I liked the story, the two main characters, the girlfriend, Paul Reiser (yes, that was him as the dad), the scenery, the way it was shot, the music, and the passion. But the movie got the realism of art school wrong. That was the important part of the movie. The movie centered  around a 19 year old attending  art school. Shaffer Conservatory of Music doesn’t exist in real life. I get it, that was suppose to be a Julliard type college or maybe even Julliard. Andrew mentioned that he went to the best art school in the country. It didn’t look that way to me. It looked like an empty inner city high school. Another problem is that there are no teachers at Julliard that act like JK Simmons character. Julliard has the same type of professors that Harvard and Yale have. There is no yelling, there is no slapping, There is no crying, There is no sweating. There is no bleeding. It's a very professional and serious place. Who on earth would subject  themselves to a crazy professor like JK Simmons.  Remember, the writers were suppose to be portraying a frilly art school. It played more like a military institution. If you’re paying $30,000 a semester and you’re suppose to be taught to play an instrument but instead you’re yelled at my bet is that you’re going to speak with a school administrator right away.

Miles Teller who played Andrew trained on the drums like he was going into a boxing match. If you are bleeding and have blisters on your hands you’re going to be a bad drummer. Your hands have to be in perfect condition. I laughed when he put his ailing hands in a bucket of ice.

I laughed at parts when you weren’t suppose to laugh.

The students acted like high school students instead of educated college age students.

With all it’s problems I still liked the movie. It entertained me.  I was never bored where I had to reach for my laptop. I was interested in it from beginning to end. We’re attracted to fantasy sometimes. That’s what it was. Who knows, maybe the writer of Whiplash will come out and say this was a nightmare he had when he was learning to play drums.

WHY THE PATRIOTS WILL WIN AND WIN BIG

The Patriots are going to win by a large margin. It will be an absolute destruction of the Seahawks. I see it will be over by halftime. Here are the reasons. The NFC was very weak this year. The Carolina Panthers won their division with a 7-8-1 record. They were the Seahawks first opponent in the playoffs. The game was sloppy and close until the 4^th quarter. Then the Seahawks escaped in the NFC championship game against the Packers who had a quarterback that could barely walk. The Packers controlled the entire game until the last quarter. If it wasn't for the Packers head coach’s stupidity and a special team full of butter fingers the Packers would have won. Another reason for a Seahawks loss is that Richard Sherman their best defender has an arm that is unusable. Russell Wilson the Seahawks quarterback is very overrated and will be exposed against an above average Patriots defense.

                The Patriots played in the superior AFC this year. They had a 3-1 record against NFC opponents. The Patriots rolled the Ravens and Colts in the playoffs. The Patriots also have a secret weapon named LeGarrett Blunt. Blunt was a pickup for the last 5 games of the season. He’s fresh because he doesn't have very many overall rushing attempts. He has come on strong recently. The Seahawks defensive line won’t be able to stop him.

The Vegas line has the Patriots favored by 1 point. I know the line is designed to get equal amounts of bets on both sides so Vegas can profit off of the 10% vig. But I don’t get the betting line at all. It should be Patriots -7.

I see something like 40 to 10 Patriots. The best I see for the Seahawks might be 35 to 13 Patriots.

But I see closer to 40 to 10 Patriots.
