The Best Answer On What To Do With Guns In America.

The 2^nd  amendment simply states: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

In simple terms the 2^nd amendment states a group of free citizens can form a group that have arms to protect themselves and their state against a possible tyrannical government or foreign invaders.

The term arms means guns. Not just muskets or hunting rifles. Arms are guns that exist in the now. Handguns, shotguns, semi automatic rifles, and fully automatic rifles.

Government has been infringing upon our 2^nd amendment rights for decades. We let the government completely ban our automatic weapons. Then in the 80’s the government banned semi-automatic rifles. Thankfully the ban went away in 1994. Since then the anti gun politicians have been trying to ban them permanently. Our politicians like to say, “I believe in the second amendment. I hunt and I never shot anything with a semi-automatic rifle.” The genius politicians are missing the point of the 2^nd amendment.  It has nothing to do with hunting.  It has to do with a free citizen owning a gun of their choice. That includes fully automatic rifles.

Politicians have some weird ideas on gun control. Limiting the bullets that you can put in a magazine clip, limiting the number of bullets you can buy, running background checks on law abiding citizens before they buy a gun, and making “gun free zones.” News flash politician’s, people who murder people with guns get guns illegally and don’t follow the law. You can write all the goofy limiting laws in the world and it won’t save a single soul.

 If society wants to stop gun murders once and for all make guns illegal. All gun manufacturers must close their U.S. factories or move over seas. Government officials must go into every single house and confiscate all guns. No more hunting with a gun. Good luck with that. This will never happen but that is the only way to prevent gun murders. In fictitious utopian societies there are no gun murders or any murders for that matter. But we all know there is no such thing as utopia.

A sad example of a utopian law came from politicians in Sandy Hook, CT. Sandy Hook Elementary was officially a “gun free zone.” Politicians and school board members slapped each other on each their backs and said, “Now there will be no more gun violence in our neighborhood because we have a sign posted that reads gun free zone.”

Do murderers read signs? Pay attention to dumb laws? No. Never will.

A solution to our gun violence in our schools is to accept that America will always have guns. Now we need to act like grownups and protect ourselves and our kids. Put steel doors at our schools. Don’t let anybody in unless it’s a parent.  Get together with your fellow citizens and demand that your town hire former military to stand watch at your town’s schools. You don’t want to be shot by a murderer? Think about taking a gun class and buy a gun and get a carry permit to protect yourself. Don’t like that idea and hate guns? Then you might get shot by a murderer. That can happen in America.

What do we do with the gun problem in America? Tell our politicians who work for us to give up on writing the dumb gun laws. It’s a waste of time. Don’t think like a child. Be a grownup and protect yourself and your family without Big Brother. Guns in America are forever.
