Why Are Tea Party Groups Called Weird And Far Right?

The Tea Party is getting attack by the media elites, Republicans, and Democrats. Over the past year I thought to myself why would a group get bashed for wanting the country to be fiscally sound? The Tea Party believes in the rule of law and following the Constitution. They are called weird for wanting to follow the law of the land. So why are Tea Party members called weird and “far right”?

          They aren’t status quo. They aren’t part of the country’s political structure.  Believe it or not the Democrats and the Republicans are the same. The two parties work every day to enlarge the federal government. The Republican leadership like John Boehner, Mitch Mcconnell, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain dislike the Tea Party. They are cowards who  name call. John McCain called the Tea Party “Whacko Birds.”  The Tea Party is the true Republican Party. They want a less intrusive federal government, a return to strict adherence to the Constitution, and to stay out of foreign affairs. That doesn’t sound weird or far right to me.

          When you hear a politician or a media member name call Tea Party people keep listening to see if there is any substance behind the name calling. There never is.

It’s unbelievable how many people have asked me who is going to win the World Series. It’s upward towards 200 people.

The Cardinals will win the first 2 games. Then lose Saturday. Then finish it out on Sunday and Monday.

I’m looking at a high scoring affair on the Cardinals end. When they win they will score over 5 runs per game.  Their loss will be a blowout. Everybody will say here come the Sox. Then they will lose their next two.

How do you like that descriptive prediction.

Why Save the Redskins?

It was kind of weird yesterday. Somebody stopped me on the street and said, "Aren't you the guy that operates Imsortofanexpert.com?" I said, "Why yes I am." He wanted my take on the Washington Redskin's name controversy that has been going on lately. Some politically correct people want the name changed. This is how I explained it to him.

The Redskin guy used as the logo does not exist anymore. Today's Indian tribes are not this guy. This guy in the logo stopped being around when the 1900's came about. This Redskin image is a romantic image of what Indians use to be. They were Proud people who are interesting to read about. I love Indians. I’m well schooled in the history of Indians. Indians are known for their hunting prowess and their bravery. That's why they were mascots. People thought Indians were "cool". This is a very proud image of what an Indian use to be. Back in the day they were call Redskins. By keeping the Redskin name we are honoring the Indian culture. If you were a normal kid growing up you always wanted to be the Indian when you played Cowboys and Indians. The Redskin name and logo is truly about honor.

Why Christopher Columbus Should Be Honored

At work somebody came up to me and asked me why I always speak about Columbus Day as being important. The simple answer is that it was important that Columbus discovered America when he did. If somebody from a country that was able to colonize America didn’t discover America until 100 years later than 1492 think about how that would have changed the modern world. America would have not been a mature enough country to win World War II and defeat Communism. The world’s modern economy runs off of America. Christopher Columbus and the country of Spain should be honored every second Monday in October. He was brave enough to sail to an unknown land in 1492.  Because of him the world modernized faster.  Europe was able advance because of the gold in America. Also the new trade routes empowered everybody. Your life is easier because of Christopher Columbus.

I know, Columbus wasn’t the first to discover America. But he was supported by a country who could colonize America and make it into something beneficial. The Vikings and the Chinese found the land first. But there is a big difference between finding a piece of land and actually doing something with it. Spain and England did something with the Americas.

I always hear people disparage Columbus for killing the native population. It was 1492. Those were the times. If it wasn’t Columbus and the Spaniards killing the native people it would have been somebody else. In those times countries conquered. Kill or be killed.

My Take On The Syria Situation

I was talking to somebody at work in our break room about current events. They told me they really didn’t understand the Syria situation. I told them to let me explain it in a way that a person with a below average IQ can understand it.

There are two main Muslim groups call the Sunnis and Shiites. 85% of the world’s Muslim population are Sunnis. Most of the Shiites are in Iran. Iran is close to Syria. Picture the Mediterranean Sea on the left then Syria, Iraq, and Iran moving to your right. Geography is very important in this matter. This is information is important to know up front.

The Assad family has been in charge of Syria for a while. The current leader Bashar al-Assad is a member of a small Muslim sect called the Alawite’s. 12% of the population in Syria are Alawaites. The Alawites and the Shittes are allies in Syria. The “rebel army”  fighting Assad’s government are all Sunni’s. Sunnis and Shittes hate each other. Sunnis want to take over control from the Alawite/Shitte government.

Iran is involved because they are Shittes and would like a Shitte government to remain in charge. Saudia Arabia who is Iran’s arch enemy and predominantly Sunni wants Assad out and a Sunni collation to run the government. The U.S. are allies with Saudia Arabia and enemies with Iran. That’s why we are involved. We want to make Saudia Arabia happy and help throw Assad out of power. The U.S. wants to make Saudia Arabia happy because they buy our weapons, cars, and expensive household goods. We love their oil.

It’s essentially a holy war where Shittes and Sunnis are battling it out. Iran is a large influence on Iraq. If they can have a strong influence in Syria they control the whole northern stretch of the Middle East and will have access to the sea.

I know what you are thinking. "I appreciate the social studies lesson but I would really like your opinion on what the U.S. should do on Syria. That is why I come here"

Absolutely nothing. Our enemies are fighting each other. Let them fight it out.

"But, but what about Iran and Russia being involved in Syria."

Let them be involved in Syria. They want to waste their money on Syria so the Shittes can be in charge. Let them. We're not Muslim and we do not live in the Muslim world. It's a Muslim issue.

Since Americans know more about Miley Cyrus than world geography I thought I would put up a picture of the Middle East to educate everybody.

OBAMA COMMENTED ON THE TRAYVON MARTIN/GEORGE ZIMMERMAN CASE

On Friday people came running my way and freaking out about Obama. They said Obama just spoke on the Zimmerman case and we need to know what you think. I told them to let me take a look at the video of his speech and I’ll back to you.  I'm sort of tired of Obama but felt it was important to let people know my thoughts on his speech.

Here is what I told them. A lot of people were surprised Obama spoke out on the case. Because we all know an American President doesn’t speak on matters so small and something a state should worry about. Not Obama. He loves the spotlight. This shows you how small of a President he is. What President has commented on a self-defense case. Short answer: none.

Obama commented on the fact that women get scared when they see a black male. The women lock their door and clutch their purse. Trayvon was a victim of profiling. He blamed whitey for being leery of young black males. “shopping while black” and driving while black.” Obama said we need to change as a society and stop being scared of black males. He’s a fool for saying that. Who fault is it when women get scared around black youth? The black youth’s fault.  They are a small part of the population but responsible for the majority of the crime. Zimmerman had every right to question why this black youth was in his private neighborhood.  Obama is too much of a coward to speak the truth. He wouldn’t want to lose his voting  bloc.

Obama should have taken this opportunity to say to black males, “Let’s start proving society wrong about us. Let’s start dressing normal. Stop getting tattoos.  Stop participating in crime and worry about being productive.”

He wants police departments to work on racial bias. Who needs to work on what? Black males just need to behave themselves.

Obama asked a dumb hypothetical question. “If Trayvon was an adult and had a gun could he have used the stand your ground laws if he felt threatened?” Sort of, if Zimmerman got on top of him and was about to kill him. Its clear he doesn’t understand the stand your ground law. Your life has to be in danger. You can’t kill because you feel threatened.

He wants to bolster young African American men. He wants to get together with Michelle and figure that out. Good idea but a lost cause. Talking heads talk about no fathers in the household as being the problem. Not caring about school as another reason. For me it’s a lost cause. They will have to help themselves. Don’t waste your time or money.

At the end Obama said the outcome would probably have been different if Trayvon was white. That’s true Obama. Nobody would have been killed. 

Overall a very bad speech. Quite a difference without tele-prompter. He didn’t really say much after the 18 minutes was over. He needs to worry about world affairs.

 

My Take On The Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman Situation

As soon as the Zimmerman verdict came out my phone was ringing off the hook from people wanting me to comment on the situation.

Here’s my take. I’m going to go back in time and go over some facts that the media left out. Zimmerman truly does live in a gated community (see picture below). What was Trayvon doing in this gated community? He was trespassing. He would of had to hop the fence. He wasn’t cutting through to get home. He was casing the place and looking for stuff to steal.

From January 1, 2011 through February 26, 2012, police were called to Zimmerman’s association 402 times. During the 18 months preceding the February 26 shooting, Zimmerman called the non-emergency police line seven times. On five of those calls, Zimmerman reported suspicious looking men in the area, but never offered the men's race without first being asked by the dispatcher. Crimes committed at the association in the year prior to Martin's death included eight burglaries, nine thefts, and one shooting. The residents said there were dozens of reports of attempted break-ins, which had created an atmosphere of fear in their neighborhood.

Zimmerman, a property owner in the association had every right to see what Trayvon was doing. All Trayvon had to do was say he was sorry for trespassing and leave. Instead he wanted to be a thug and attack George.

It’s not about race or gun rights it about respecting private property and being respectful to other people. The media keeps calling Trayvon a kid. Maybe the kid should have respected the adult. 

I don't look at Trayvon as a victim. I look at him as a trespasser and an attempted murderer. He could have murdered George Zimmerman.

You want to blame somebody. Blame Trayvon and his two absent parents.
